Competency is a cornerstone of health and safety compliance. Alarmingly, it is possible to provide health, safety and fire consultancy services without any formal training or experience at all. As a duty holder it is your responsibility to ensure that your contractors are suitably trained, and that the advice you are provided with is suitable.
All contactors and services that you appoint should be required to provide evidence of competency. Here at Kendon Safety all our assessors and consultants are NEBOSH National diploma qualified, Graduate Members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and approved Registered Assessors with the Institute of Fire Engineers, as a minimum.
Maintaining these standards does not make us more costly to appoint, or our literature more complicated to understand. It just means the answers to your questions will be the right ones, from a foundation of knowledge you can trust.
